February 2019 - a rough month for snow

February was a difficult month.  We received 56 inches of snow.  I think the normal total snowfall all winter is only 70 inches. 

In mid-January, I bought some weed and feed that Costco had on sale, thinking that it wouldn't be too long before it was time to apply it.  Then came February.  The snow still hasn't melted off the shady parts of the lawn.  I still have 6-12 inches in places!

I had to rake the roof, fearing that if it began to rain, the snow would hold the water and really make the roof heavy.
