Checking out the 468 Tektronix Oscilloscope

I powered up the 468 scope today as well.

Before the CRT began to show a display, the large LED display in the digital section began showing zero in various places at various times.  Promising... The CRT and faceplate are still pretty dusty.  Click any image to enlarge.

Looking good on Channel 1

Channel 2, same story.

Notice the red knobs?  They have a detent where they click into place, and that's where you are supposed to be when taking voltage and frequency measurements.  On this particular scope, if they are not in the detent position, you have a bright red light to tell you that your display is "uncal".  Pretty cool.  I still need to learn and check out the top digital storage part of this, but at least I know that the analog section is fine.

Edit:
Just watched a cool video that may keep me from having to spend a lot of time poring through the 468 manual.  The guy is a little hard to understand, but there is great information here.
