Sugarloaf

I was listening to the old memory stick on the way to work, and a cool old song came up.

The song is "Don't Call Us, We'll Call You" by Sugarloaf.  It details the band's experience in trying to land a recording contract with CBS records.  This song rocks out, particularly on the keyboards.  The lyrics are really clever.

So Listen up!  You will hear elements from the Beatles' "I Feel Fine" and a brief clavinova segment reminiscent of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition"

Interestingly, when you hear the phone dialing in the bridge portions of the song, the phone tones were actual unlisted numbers for CBS records and the White House :)  Pretty funny, and a nice bit of pre-internet trolling.
