Zenith Console, Model 6-S-52

I got it home.

Pictures below are of a 1936 Zenith Model 6-S-52 console vacuum tube radio.  This is a six tube radio that can receive three different radio bands - Standard AM radio (530-1600 KHz), Medium Wave (1500-4200 KHz), and Short Wave (5.6-18.2 MHz) approximately.

It needs some cosmetic work and a little electrical work, but it's complete!  Below, preparing to unload from the truck in the shop.

Below, next to the work bench.

Close up of the top

Close up of the bottom.  Wood work on the grille has a little damage.

The radio chassis.  All the tubes are there and everything looks original.

Speaker looks good.  No damage to the cone and the wiring isn't damaged or cracked.  The wire bundle looks kinked and frayed on the lower right, but it's just a bend with some accumulated fuzz.

Picture of the entire back side.

Close-up of the damaged grille.  If I can't repair this decently, I'll just cut out the damaged section and do the same on the other side of the grille.  Nobody will know any better.
