Summer Soltsice at 48 degrees North Latitude

Dawn begins early.  This was taken at 3:45 AM.  There was noticeable faint light on the horizon at 3:00 AM.  However it wasn't until 45 minutes later that I was sure that it wasn't sky-glow from a nearby town.

As soon as day begins to break, the birds start making racket.  If you've left the windows open to cool down the house overnight, you'll be awakened by a loud and diverse number of bird songs.  It's a cool way to wake up, but it happens waaaaay too early in the morning!
