The elites and the media have gone insane

I want to begin this post with a link to a very handy website: Resilience.org

Resilience.org defines "Reslience" thusly: "the capacity of a system to absorb disturbance and re-organize while undergoing change so as to still retain essentially the same function, structure, identity, and feedbacks.".  You should head on over to their website and see how you can make yourself, your family, and your community better prepared for what I expect to be a rather harsh decade or so.

With that out of the way, let's discuss the insanity of the elites, and the clamor for war.  To understand their disconnect from the common man, we first need to observe how one becomes an elite.  You should probably read this article before continuing.  For some reason, these clueless and out of touch people believe their opinions have more value than other, better-informed opinions, and they are given large and tall platforms to spew those opinions down onto the masses.

War-mongering falls to those who bear no risk, and will never bear any risk - like those lovely millionaire ladies on "The View", and politicians.  They have no problem sending our young men and women to die on foreign soil for no good reason.  Let's remind our men and women in uniform who is OK with them going overseas to die:

 War-mongering also falls to those that have a financial interest in war, like this guy.  I saw him interviewed recently, making the case for US engaging more aggressively in eastern Europe.  He has a new gig now as a civilian - with the company that manufactures Humvees.  He probably won't get killed in a war either.  His status as a defense contractor on the government tit was not disclosed in the interview.

This celebrity has no problem paying extra for gas, and thinks the sacrifice is worth it.  Just so you know though, her net worth is $250 million, so her opinion on what sacrifice is acceptable may differ from yours.

 

 

I truly wonder how they are able to psychologically live in a bubble where the realities of life never intrude.  Do they not see the people who do their gardening, clean their pool, get their groceries?  How this affects those people?  Are they really that blind to how these things affect other people?  There is a level of delusion among these elites about what people are willing to put up with that is absolutely stunning in its depth and breadth.    

 Media's job used to be "Afflicting the Comfortable, and Comforting the Afflicted."  Now it's Comforting the comfortable and afflicting the afflicted.  It's time to eliminate the word "Reporter" from our vocabulary, and replace it with "Media Employee".

Below is a video from an actual reporter on the scene.  Something you won't be seeing from the US media.  All you will get from them is worthless opinions.

It's very disturbing to see every TeeVee show and internet news site promoting hatred of our fellow humans.  As an ex-military man, I find this devaluation of human life deeply disturbing.  Seriously, are people so simple as to cheer on the death of conscripts?  Really?  

When did using the wrong pronoun become violence, but cheering the death of young conscripts and civilians become OK?  When was that?  This is morbid, and an indication of a sick society.  We should be praying for as many to live as possible.  We should be hoping for a diplomat to arrive on the scene and bring the bloodshed to an end.

One awesome aspect of reality:  When reality clashes with elite's delusions, reality wins.  It happened to Tzar Nicholas and it happened to the Louis XVI.  Choose resilience friends.  Don't be like these monarchs and TeeVee stars who inhabit a world of unreality.
