It's been nearly 12 years that we've lived in North Idaho, and while aurora happen here, they are a bit rare. Also, there are often confounding issues, like a full moon, overcast, wildfire smoke, or being stuck at work on night shift.
Last night we got lucky and managed to have a clear night, with no moon, and no work. I have proof! These could probably be manipulated a bit to bring out the color, but I'm OK with the raw images.
