Today Paramore rolled around. Really catchy tune, and the singer has an incredible voice. Cute, too.
And then a modern swing song came up. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is absolutely amazing.
After that, a couple of favorite oldies rolled up, back to back.
Followed by somewhat more current rocking rock...
By the time I rolled through the gate, I was listening to George Gershwin. LOL. Didn't get to finish, it's a long song.
In other music news, I spent a butt-load of money for concert tickets about 1-1/2 years ago to see MCR. MCR is the acronym for My Chemical Romance - a group which had broken up, but was re-uniting for a world tour. The tickets for that concert sold out in minutes. The concert was pushed back a full year due to the Covid pandemic, but it's possible that we may be able to see them play late next year.
The kid and her best friend are avid fans of MCR, and I like them quite a bit as well - I've enjoyed listening to them since about 2004. They write really catchy pop-punk tunes. The first of these is an anthem that reminds me a bit of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.
