"Floods will rob of us of one thing, fire of another. These are conditions of our existence which we cannot change. What we can do is adopt a noble spirit, such a spirit that befits a good person, so that we may bear up bravely under all that fortune sends us and bring our wills into tune with nature's." - Seneca

Half a million page views!
Hi All,
Yes I'm still here and wondering where I will find inspiration for the next post. It'll come at some point, and yes I'll do the nuclear fusion post at some point :)
In the meantime I'd like to thank everyone who has ever stopped by to read anything and extra special thanks to those that comment - the insights and long-distance friendships have been very rewarding!
So while I wasn't looking, the stats now say that there have been well over 500,000 page views. 522,585 to be precise at this moment. I'm humbled, and thanks again for having a look!

"Power concedes nothing without demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to, and you have found the exact measure of injustice and wrong that will be imposed on them, and these will continue until these are either resisted with words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are are prescribed by the endurance of those they oppress." - Frederick Douglass

The Laughter of Wolves
"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: 'The Lord of the Rings', and 'Atlas Shrugged'. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." - John Rogers
