There is an explanation of why I have a break that opens the rest of the post.  This blog was being copied by bots, and the page views were going elsewhere.    My content may not be great, but it is MY content.  Forcing viewers to click a link seems to have chased the bots off - at least for now.

Awesome Youtube Channels

I'm a pretty big fan of YouTube, even if I'm not a big fan of the parent company.  The reason that I'm a YouTube fan is because of the people who provide the content for YouTube.   I thought it would be a good idea to give them a shout out, because I've learned so much from them.

Heating the house

I want to talk a bit about home heating.  I'm not an expert, but I've done a little research into it, and thought it would be good to share what I've learned.  I have a similar post about home cooling here.

Bow Hunting

I'm not a bow hunter, and I don't intend to start bow hunting.  However, I am a firm believer in being resilient to adverse situations.

Overhauling the cat tree

A couple of years ago, we were about to have guests over, and I realized how awful the cat tree looked.  We quickly purchased a second cat tree, and vowed to replace the carpet and rope on the previous one at some point.

Back Yard Landscaping - four days of moving dirt and finished! *Updated*

We've had a difficult landscaping situation out back since we moved into this house.  The walkways were gravel, weeds, and stones.  It has been an ongoing battle keeping up with the weeds.
